New Varnish Finishes

Here at our shop we're always trying to improve our instruments. Having that goal keeps us all together, and keeps us pushing to create. For years we've been working on our varnish finish and recently we've made some giant leaps in getting the right combination of patina, color and shading, while allowing us to maintain that broken-in woody tone that our mandolins are known for.

We start with great materials and craft and then finish them with our newest batch of shellac, hand-rubbing the earthy color over the body, neck and pearl appointments. The result is a look of distinct character and elegance found only on those older famous mandolins that we're all trying to pay our highest respects to. Our new vintage varnish will be available on new instruments already in the works and we're looking forward to getting the first ones out there to all of you.

Orders are coming in fast. Make sure to reserve yours now.....we'd hate for you to miss out.
