Emory Lester

Emory Lester is one today's foremost exponents of the acoustic mandolin. His landmark recording project "pale Rider, "the Emory Lester Set", and "Cruisin the 8" have placed him among the elite mandolinists of our time. Currently playing with Wayne Taylor and the Appalossa and noted "Clawgrass" banjoist Mark Johnson, Emory is touring across the US, Canada, Eurpoe and the UK. Emory and Mark have also been featured on several performances with Steve Martin, most notably on the 'Late Night with David Letterman' show in September 2012.

Emory has been teaching master series workshops at events such as the Steve Kuafmann Camp, the Mandolin symposium, Transatlantic Bluegrass School I Wales UK, Alaska Guitar Camp, and many other prestigious learning environments

I truly believe that Adrian and his Northfield team are revolutionizing the process of constructing a great mandolin, and the Northfield line is set to be a major player in the mandolin world for a long time to come.
