What a cool project. A collaboration that keeps our ethos at the heart of our business bringing together art, tech, and sustainable manufacturing into a brand new product that protects these painstaking instruments we love to create. The "Recurve" is our latest case made in a partnership with world-famous German case maker, Jakob Winter. It utilizes their process for turning plant materials (hemp, flax, kenaf) into a pressed shell using heat and pressure instead of glue. The result is a rigid and highly protective shell that is incredibly light. Unique arching and internal molding provide strength and the internal dimensions have been tested with many mandolins on the market today. Made in 3 distinct colors and coverings (Please note, the Moss Green, Felt case is discontinued by the manufacturer). Cases come with a single-basic carrying strap.
