We’re looking forward to a special weekend at Northfield, centered around music, learning, and community.
On Saturday, we’re honored to welcome Brian Oberlin for a full day of workshops, followed by an evening concert celebrating his new album Troubadour Anew. Brian’s approach to the mandolin is both deeply rooted and forward-thinking, and this will be a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the instrument’s most compelling voices.
Whether you’re looking to refine your technique, gain new musical insight, or simply be inspired, the workshops and concert will set the tone for the weekend.
Throughout the weekend, our showroom will be open and ready to explore. You’ll have the chance to spend time with a wide range of instruments—including shopworn pieces, demos, and one-off prototypes—along with cases, stands, and other goods.
